One of the better Lifeblood B-sides, ‘Dying Breeds’ reflects the growing role of Nicky Wire in the band’s music, and hints strongly at his then-forthcoming solo LP.
‘Litany’ has the name which was at one point intended for the Lifeblood LP – however, it is doubtful that the song was ever intended for release on the album.
Sean Moore’s light, almost jaunty drums elevate this otherwise quite ordinary Lifeblood B-side.
The first B-side on the final Lifeblood single, ‘All Alone Here’ has its positives despite being afflicted with the lyrical deficiencies which characterise the era’s B-sides.
